What is a Caipirinha?
The spirit used for the base is called Cachaça. It is made from sugarcane juice that is then fermented. This is a Brazilian spirit that is comparable to rum.
- A half of a lime cut into wedges
- 2 tsp. of sugar
- 2 oz. Cachaça
Optional, but suggested, ingredients:
- A single lime wheel to use as a garnish
- A Double Old Fashioned Glass
